I ett samhälle med ökad globalisering blir regler angående den internationella privat- och processrätten allt viktigare. Denna uppsats behandlar lagvalsregler, vilka går att finna i Romkonventionen. Romkonventionens huvudregel är lagvalsfrihet. Det finns dock bestämmelser i konventionen som inskränker denna möjlighet. Artikel 7 rörande internationellt tvingande regler är ett exempel på detta och är även uppsatsens huvudämne.

The aim of this study is to investigate how the Swedish language proficiency of pupils in vocational programmes in 1977 was measured and assessed with the aid of a national achievement test, and to investigate whether vocational pupils today, in 2014, have similar language proficiency to that of pupils in the 1970s. The study also discusses how the design of the national achievement test from 1977 reflects the view of knowledge that prevailed in society and in the policy documents. The material for the study consists of a total of 75 national achievement tests, 40 of which were taken by pupils on a vocational programme in 1977 and 35 by pupils on a vocational programme in 2014. The national achievement test consists of two parts, the first of which focuses on isolated elements of language proficiency, while the second involves free text production. The material was analysed quantitatively in accordance with the correction material from 1977.

The purpose of this master's thesis is to describe and analyse the origin and development of the library of Workers´ Educational Association in the community of Oskarström. This library is special because the organisation run it much longer than usual, until 1977, and to find an answer to why, we have the following questions: Why does the library of Workers´ Educational Association start their activity in Oskarström, and how does it develop, in relation to premises, librarians, financing, the stock of books and the numbers of books out on loan? What is the reason that the library in Oskarström is municipalized as late as 1977? The methods we use are hermeneutics and evaluation of the sources. The library is founded in 1914 and become important for the workers. Important sources of income are the subventions given by the state, municipality and other associations.

The aim of this master thesis is to investigate changes within four discourses identified in the curriculum material of the Swedish library education in Borås Bibliotekarielinjen dating from 1977 and 1985 and its successor Library and Information Science Biblioteks- och informationsvetenskap dating from 1995, 1999. My method used is a text analytic method primarily derived from the discourse theory of Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe, yet with addition of tools from the critical discourse analysis of Fairclough. By identifying three floating signifiers within the material, i.e information, library, and librarian, and thereafter identifying their fixation, a pattern of resemblance and diversity in the fixating signs appeared between different courses of the curriculum dating from 1999. Hence I could establish an order of discourse consisting of four library discourses, a knowledge organisation discourse, a user discourse, a society discourse and a management discourse. Using this discursive order as a pattern, I could trace these four discourses back in time within the material dating from 1995, 1985 and 1977.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how homosexuality is portrayed in young- adult novels. I use books published in Sweden from 1977- 2003. Three of the books have female main characters and the other three have male main characters. My purpose is therefore to compare the different results between the sexes.I will examine and discuss the homosexuality in the novels with focus on the homosexual identity of the young characters and how it is formed. I relate the results to a queer discussion about identity.

The aim of this master thesis is to describe some general trends and important steps in the Swedish university libraries user-orientation from the implementation of the university college reform 1977 until today. The aim gave rise to four further questions. Literature studies and empirical studies in the form of focusing interviews have been carried out, in order to answer the questions. Of the entire background material I have made a simple form of general analysis. I found that the libraries, during the years have interacted with the following four interested parties, the government, the mother organization, other libraries and the library users.

In 1975 the Indian president Indira Gandhi proclaimed the emergency period which would go on until 1977. Under this time approximately 8 million men and women were sterilized in the name of family planning. Many of them did not volunteer. This was not just an Indian con- cern because the family planning program was largely funded by international aid. The Swe- dish involvement in the program was debated 1977?1980, in what has been called ?SIDA?s Watergate?.

Uppsatsen tar upp hur Giacomettis konst blev uppmärksammad i Sverige på en av de första utställningarna som gjordes med hans konst på Moderna Museet i Stockholm år 1977. Undersökningens tar upp hur Giacometti togs emot som konstnär av konstvetare och tidningsrecensenter och hur de reagerade på konsten. Vidare följer en undersökning av Giacomettis egna texter.I undersökningens början beskrivs relationen mellan Giacometti och Jean Genet. Genet har skrivit omfattande texter om konstnären och spenderade mycket tid med denne. Därefter följer tre analyser av olika verk av skulptören.

Syfte: Sedan tidigare finns det ett antal studier om svenska bankersinternationalisering fram till år 1995. Efter denna period har svenskabankernas internationalisering accelererat samtidigt som studierna efterperioden 1995 varit få som behandlat bankernas internationalisering.Denna studies syfte är att genom fyra fallstudier beskriva och analyserade fyra svenska storbankernas internationaliseringsprocess undertidsperioden 1995-2009. Dessa fyra fallstudier kommer att analyserasutifrån Internationaliseringsprocessmodellen (Johanson & Vahlne, 1977)och de begrepp som presenteras i analysramen, mer specifikt kunskap ochengagemang.Metod: Kvalitativ metod med fyra fallstudier som beskriver och analyserar fyrasvenska storbankernas (Handelsbanken, Nordea, SEB och Swedbank)internationalisering utifrån sekundärdata, främst årsredovisningar ochtidningsartiklar.Slutsatser: Internationaliseringsprocessmodellen (Johanson & Vahlne, 1977) kandelvis förklara de fyra svenska storbankernasinternationaliseringsprocess. Vissa skillnader och likheter utmärkerbankerna åt där på ena sidan Handelsbanken passat in på det beteendesom internationaliseringsprocessmodellen beskriver medan Swedbankinte passat lika väl. En annan intressant slutsats är att bankerna drivits avett högt mimetic behaviour..

This thesis describes how the punk movement was started in Sweden and how it continued to grow in the late 70's. The main questions are: How was the punk movement regarded in Sweden?; How did punk reflect the society? and What does the term punk represent?The study is based on journalistic texts in newspapers and magazines from the period of the breakthrough of punk. The work is based on a methodical review of the material and is organized thematically under topics like opinions, gigs, clothing and music. Initially, punk lead to misunderstandings and misperceptions since few people knew what punk was all about.

I andra delen, av de två delar som texten består av,  beskriver  författarensina upplevelser från en vistelse i Belgrad. Del I handlar om ett års vistelse under 1977 och del två om ett återbesök 2014. I del II har författaren beskrivit sina upplevelser som kretsar runt stadens konstliv, arkitektur och historia..

Med hjälp av den fenomenologiska metoden visade det sig att fenomenet TV innehåller ångest. Programformen såpa serverar sina tittare en existentiell ångest. I sport bjuds tittaren på patologisk ångest. I ljuset av P. Tillichs existentiella ontologi (1977) framkom det att ångest beror på att samhället har fråntagit oss ödet och döden..

The purpose of the thesis is to describe the developing of the branch libraries of the public library of Kristianstad between the years of 1967 and 1977. The municipality of Kristianstad was grounded by a unification of the city of Kristianstad and ten small municipalities. The fusion takes place in three different stages during the years of 1967, 1971 and 1974. The first stage included the city of Kristianstad and the municipalities of Araslöv, Nosaby, Träne and Vä. The municipality of Araslöv got free small villages and village of Färlöv was the biggest one.

Utgångspunkten för undersökningen som presenteras i den här uppsatsen är Bengt Sigurds studie av textbindning i elevtext, Tre experiment med text: Att presentera Buffalo Bill (1977).   Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka textbindning i elevtexter, skrivna utifrån samma uppgift (Sigurd 1977) för att se hur eleverna löser textbindningen i en satsatomuppgift. En satsatom är minsta möjliga informationsbärande sats, t.ex. Flickan går och Bollen är rund. Elever från ett yrkesförberedande och ett studieinriktat program fick en satsatomuppgift om westernhjälten Buffalo Bill.
